The chlorine shouldn't hurt your acrylic nails, but having them in water quite a bit, you must be sure to have them filled every two weeks. The acrylic has a tendency to "lift' alittle after several weeks, requiring a touch up. If water gets in between the nail bed and the acrylic, that could cause mold or fungus growth.
