You need to get enough in the abstract reasoning test to progress with the Police selection process, so on the day you need to pass this. This is because the abstract reasoning assesses your learning potential, and you need to have the ability to learn to become a Police Officer. If you do not pass the verbal or numerical reasoning, you will be stood down for a minimum of six weeks and allowed one more chance to resit.
