Your network user folder is actually located on your campus server. To access it from your classroom computer you can do the following: Logon to the network using your network username and password (You must log on to the network in order to have access to your network user folder) Please note that this folder is a source of "backup" for KISD users. Dorms with dining halls have public access areas that allow community members to enter the dining halls during the hours that the dining halls are open for meals.

There are no direct hook-ups available to SSTP students in the dorm, however, if you do bring a computer with a telephone modem it is certainly possible for you to use the phone line in your suite to dial up to a local provider. All UF-SSTP students also have access to the campus computer labs where internet access is available.

Yes. Each dorm room comes equipped with two data ports (one for you and one for your roommate) that allow quick and easy Ethernet access to the Web, your E-mail account and the campus-computing network.

Yes. Each dorm room, with the exception of the Schafer dorms, has two network connections. Schafer A, B, and C and the Village dorms have a wireless network. These connections will allow you access to the Internet and to your own personal network drive where you can store files including your mail and a web page if you wish to create one.

Faculty, staff, and student personal folders are accessible directly from any PC that logs into the INTRA domain. Upon login to the INTRA domain, a U drive will automatically be mapped to your folder. Your U drive will follow you from PC to PC as long as you are logging into INTRA.

Faculty and staff have access to their Piratedrive personal folders through Onestop (http://onestop.ecu.edu). ITCS is currently enhancing Onestop access for Piratedrive, so watch for improvements to Onestop access. Student access to Onestop is coming soon!

Yes, departmental folders are accessible via FTP. Contact the Helpdesk at 328-9866 and open a help desk request for assistance with Piratedrive. Tell the technician you need assistance using FTP to access your Piratedrive departmental folder. Someone from ITCS will then contact you to provide assistance in setting up FTP to access the departmental folder.

To turn off read/only access the folder has to be resynced again. Run the resync wizard (OsaSync - Synced folder - Resynchronize...) on a computer on which the folder has full access. In the computers step select the read/only computer and in the access rights step make sure this computer is not selected as being read/only.

Check the capital letters, whether a word is plural or singular, the accents and any other special characters that you might have used in the password.

Stop the MediaMVP services. Click on Start, Programs (or All Programs), Hauppauge MediaMVP, and then Stop. Locate the My Computer icon on your desktop or in your Start menu. Right mouse button click on the My Computer icon and select Manage from the drop down menu. Click on the “+” sign next to the Services and Applications listing and then click on the Services sublisting. Locate and right mouse button click on the name MVPMedia and select Properties from the drop down menu.

If you are an MORRTEL Pre-selected Customer, every time you make a call it will instantly be routed through the MORRTEL network. If you are not yet pre-selected to MORRTEL you simply need to dial 1488 or 1414 before the long distance or international telephone number.
