To make a CD: You must have a CD writer in your computer. Most newer computers already have CD Writers installed. Simply start playing the sermon in Media Player then click “File” then “Copy” or “CDs and Devices” then “Copy or Burn audio CD.” Put a blank CD in the CD writer and follow instructions. You can usually put two or three sermons per CD.

The tour follows a logical numbered route on your map and each place of interest on a CD is a different track. You need to pause the CD player when each section of commentary concludes, giving you time to explore, or when crossing streets. If you accidentally press STOP on a CD player it will return to the beginning, but you just select the appropriate track number for the next place you want to go to. With a cassette player you press STOP and PLAY accordingly.

Have the necessary equipment including a CD-R recorder, blank CD-R media, MP3 files and software capable of translating MP3 files to WAV files. Click on the Create CD button or select File -> Create CD. The files are automatically converted from MP3 to WAV files as they are written to the disc.

You can burn CD's directly from the VF16 using a stand alone CD Recorder. To use a computer burner you would have to transfer your two track mix file into the computer using:

Music may ONLY be on CD. If music is on a CD, it must be in the CDR (CD-Recordable) format. It cannot be in the CDRW (CD Re-writable) format. Duplicate CDs must be available in case of lost or broken tapes/CDs.

Yes. The amplifier has an auxiliary line input. You can connect a CD or Cassette with a cable so that the sound comes through the AmpliVox speakers. You can even control the volume separately from the mic volume because the aux input has its own volume and tone controls.

With the proper cables, yes. You would use the same analog cables listed above for recording to another audio device from MD, simply switch the inputs/outputs. For a computer, this would mean connecting an analog cable (usually a 1/8" male to 1/8" male miniplug cable) between your MD unit's line out to your sound card's line in.

Yes and no. Unlike a floppy disk, when the CD-R is full you cannot re-write any data. However, this is where a CD-RW comes in. You can erase and re-write with this type of disc but your Drive must be able to support CD-RWs.
