If your body has rejected one piercing, this does not necessarily mean that it will reject every piercing you have or even reject the same piercing if you choose to try it again. By using a different material, placement, jewellery size or even aftercare we can quite often achieve a successful piercing. We look at every client before piercing to decide if the they have the correct anatomy to have their piercing heal well. We could pierce anyone, should we? Some people just don't have good anatomy to heal without scarrring or rejection, and we will be honest with you and educate you as to the risks associated with your anatomy.

We do not use or suggest anesthetics because injectable and topical anesthetics can be deadly in the hands of someone who does not know how to use them. Only properly licensed medical professionals can legally administer injectable and topical anesthetics. In addition, a properly performed piercing by a knowledgeable professional hurts far less than such an injection.

When Pierce County voters created the Public Transportation Benefit Authority (PTBA—later known as Pierce Transit) in 1980, its sponsors realized there were parts of the county too sparsely populated to make bus service practical. For the sake of efficiency, those areas were excluded when the boundaries of the PTBA were drawn. If you live outside the PTBA, the bad news is you probably don't have a bus route nearby. The good news is, you don't have to pay the tax that supports the PTBA.

Genital piercings are intended for sexual enhancement. Be certain that the jewelry is the right size and style so that that purpose is served. A new piercing can provide a pathway to infection carried by bodily fluids. Condoms or Dental Dams should always be used when appropriate during the healing process. Wait on piercing of the nipples if you are breast feeding. Nothing should interfere with caring for your baby.

All of the piercings are done using sterile disposable piercing needles. For many of the placements I use forceps, which are applied to hold the area securely for the piercing. These may also help to numb the region by reducing the circulation. Certain areas, such as the nasal septum, Prince Albert, and vertical clitoral hood piercings use a device called an NRT for needle receiving tube. These are locations where forceps are not practical or necessary, nor comfortable or safe.

It is not uncommon for a parent to get a piercing — often even the same piercing — along with their child. This is an excellent way to strengthen the familial bond, and it helps you understand what they're going through. Assuming you have some interest in a piercing, this can be a very rewarding experience for everyone.

If it's a piercing that has a cultural history, you can be pretty sure it's safe even when you barely understand the relevant anatomy. That is, if this piercing has been done for thousands of years, it's probably inside the range of what can be attempted by an amateur. This includes the basic ear piercings, nose piercings, lip piercings, and many of the basic genital piercings.

You can't. Setting up a studio at home where you can safely pierce your friends is a venture that requires at least a thousand dollar investment, if not far more. There is no way for you to reasonably do this. If you want to pierce your friends, become a piercer.
