We recommend that you use a fully-featured POP email client to check your HDS mail. No, you still pull your messages with your email client. But, SpamEater Pro works between your email client and the mail server. We recommend that you setup your account profiles in SpamEater Pro to have SpamEater check the messages (on the server) on a scheduled basis, such as every 15 minutes or so. (The exact interval can be adjusted depending on your email volume or preferences.) You should also turn off any automatic send/receive in Outlook.

If you are getting 'Session Timed Out' errors each time that you try to log in, you are not allowing 'cookies' on your computer. Cookies are how the student email system maintains your login information and you need to allow them in order for your student email session to work. This is changed in the 'Privacy' settings in Internet Explorer. Move the slider to 'Medium High' and then click on Apply. Any setting higher than that will prevent the student email from working correctly.

It is possible that your mail account is out of the allotted space. When you setup an email account inside your cPanel, you have the option for the amount of web space available for this web account. The default is 10 megs, change it to "unlimited". Then double check to make sure you are not leaving mail on the web server after you send mail to the trash can and be sure that you have Outlook or your client based mail system properly set to download all mail.
