Use a hair dryer to warm the decals and they should peel right off. Do small sections at a time. If you use a heat gun, be careful not to burn your paint or finish.

Use Sticker-Off! Decal Adhesive Remover. Just spray it on the adhesive, allow a few minutes for the product to penetrate and then wipe away with a clean, soft cloth.

Removing old decals is a job all to its own. There is no easy simple way to remove decals. It always takes time and effort. After decal material is removed, adhesive residue usually remains. Any decals that do not have clear coat paint will be easier to remove. Use a heat gun to loosen the decal and begin to lift the decals. Not too much heat to burn the paint, and use extreme caution with plastic parts. Heat guns are hot enough to melt plastic.

All commercial & custom transfers require them to be heat pressed with a heat press machine with 40 pounds of pressure at 375-390 degrees for 8-20 seconds.

Look at the small IC chips on the boards of your computer. They are called the "TTL logic chips". Most of them will have numbers on them like "7404" "74121" and other "74 series" numbers. Some memory chips will be small but not have those numbers. There are generally date codes on most IC chips, usually in the form "wwyy" where ww is the week from 00 to 52, and yy is the year: 74, 75, 76, etc. Or it may be "yyww". So "2776" or "7622" will be the 26th week of 1976 for instance.
