You may use either screws or nails-both color matched to the color of your roof. Screw fasteners are preferred over nails for superior pullout resistance and weathertightness. Screw fasteners are designed to go into the flat part of the panel. Nails MUST GO in the high rib of the panel. Fasteners are typically spaced 24" o/c.

With peel and stick neoprene automotive-type adhesive tape, or if you wish we will affix a magnetic strip at no extra charge. We've only seen three methods, with anchor bolts, with threaded rod method or with screws. The anchor bolt method seems to be strong and easy and it's the way we recommend, but the threaded rod method may be easier, as it requires a smaller hole. All of the PSI piezoceramic parts come with a thin (~3000 Angstrom units) metallic electrode already on the ceramic. Wire leads can be soldered (use ordinary 60/40 resin core solder) anywhere on the electrode to suit the application/experiment.
